SIAL Paris is the largest food innovation exhibition in the world, with over 7000 exhibitors from 127 countries, and more than 400,000 food products on display. The exhibition covers 10 food industry sectors (from frozen foods and snacks, to delicatessen and free-from), and so it is a perfect place for inspiration and trend spotting. The October 19-23 installment is the 60th anniversary of the exhibition, which is typically held biannually in Paris. However, travel budgets are tight these days and an in-person attendance is not always possible. If you were unable to attend, the RCA has you covered! Join this session to see an overview of the expo, as well as a presentation of the innovations that stood out. This is going to be a heavily visual session, with photos, observations and tasting notes, followed by ample time for discussion.
