This session will explore the importance of using our entire “toolbox” to develop winning concepts, and how to manage the constant barrage of trend information inundating us. Part of our toolbox is data-oriented, while the other part is an art: gut feel, intuition, the liberty to experiment. We’ll discuss how to strike a balance between these two realms, the different tools to rely on, and how to assess whether a trend is the right fit for your brand (the “AQI” index). We’ll also look at factors driving consumer interest in food, and the role food can play in shaping the greater community.
